On Wednesday afternoon parents and friends assembled at the East Glengarry School and, after Inspecting the children's work, the chairman (Mr. W. C. Gowans) called upon the Rev. G. Randall to address the scholars. Each child received a prize, and in addition, the following specials were awarded:-Attendance, Edna Kerrison, Ette Milllar, Heather Mortee, Ray Cameron and Solomon Millar. For highest marks in examination, girls. Ewyn Prosser: boys, Ronald Regan. Neatest set of books, grade 5 - Ray Cameron: grade 2-Solomon Millar; grade 1-Margaret Prosser.
