He was a Private in the 32nd (Portsmouth) Company. on 13 May 1787 at Portsmouth, England. He served in 32nd Portsmouth Company, Portsmouth, England on 13 May 1787. He arrived 3 June 1787 Santa Cruz, Teneriffe, Canary Islands where the fleet stocked up on fresh water and vegetables. He departed Santa Cruz, Teneriffe, Canary Islands 10 June 1787 after the fleet stocks up and heads for Rio de Janeiro.
